After graduating from Northern Illinois University professional sales program, Ryan started working as a District Manager with a Fortune 250 company in Chicago. He quickly became one of the top sales reps in the Chicago area by targeting specific companies and consistently phone canvassing and foot canvassing those prospects. After two successful years, Ryan became the youngest Regional Sales Manager ever with the company’s small business division. He was later promoted to the Director of Sales in Chicago for the professional employer division where his team was among the tops in the country.
Ryan decided to pursue a longtime passion of his and obtained his Illinois Salesperson’s license in the summer of 2007. He achieved success quickly by using his aggressive cold calling strategies to differentiate himself from other real estate agents. These methods earned him the right to spearhead the leasing on a 100,000 square foot project in St. Charles which saw much success under his leadership. Having built up a book of business by the summer of 2009, Ryan obtained his Illinois Real Estate Broker license and joined Corcoran Commercial Real Estate as President.

With a background in Marketing and Information Systems from Drake University, Ryan has distinguished himself as an entrepreneur of the commercial real estate industry. After building a solid foundation of enterprise sales experience within the technology market – he focused efforts on developing a successful self storage business. Ryan has honed this understanding of the commercial real estate investment business through experience managing a variety of different building classes ranging from office, industrial, and retail property groups. As a practitioner of commercial real estate brokerage Ryan has tried to elevate business practices through many different education and networking opportunities. He has successfully completed the core subject matter toward obtaining a certification as a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), a recognized expert in the disciplines of commercial and investment real estate.
